Here are some things I like about it: It has a very high-quality, aluminum short tripod with adapter to fit the iPhone. It comes with a solid rubberized case for iPhone 3G/3GS or 4 (with special thread to hold lens). The included 8x lens with manual focus shoots crystal clear photos — and it is so easy to use! Milton Friedman on Self-Interest and the Profit Motive 1of2

Milton Friedman on Self-Interest and the Profit Motive 1of2 Tube. Duration : 5.42 Mins.

This clip is from the 15-part lecture series, "Milton Friedman Speaks" www.ideachannel.com Transcript available via FreedomChannel: freedomchannel.blogspot.com Summary: A student poses a series of question on based on Friedman's notion that people should pursue their own self-interest. The student points out that he'd read that Friedman had previously come out against disaster aid for victims of a flood in Pennsylvania. Friedman corrected the questioner and noted that he did not come out against private aid for flood victims but instead was against the Federal Government providing discounted flood insurance in advance to home purchasers which motivated people to build houses in areas where they otherwise would not have been able to obtain insurance privately. If not for the discounted insurance, it's likely many of the flooded houses would never have been built in the first place as it wouldn't have been in peoples self-interest. The student went on to note that it was recently reported that an old man in Ohio died when the electric company turned off his power when he'd failed to pay his electric bill. Was it moral for the company to act in it's own self-interest to do so? Friedman responded by asking what if the electric company never turned off the power for anyone? Who would pay the cost--the people who own or work at the electric company? It would be unjust to impose that responsibility on individuals who are running an honest business of providing electricity ...

Digital Temperature Controller

Digital Temperature Controller Tube. Duration : 2.98 Mins.

Digital Temperature ControllerIt is known that temperature control is very important. In particular, the reliability and stability of a system of any complexity directly depends on both the temperature of environment and the individual nodes of the system. BM945F model digital temperature controller will help us to measure and control temperature by any execution units (eg fans). Depending on the preset external execution units will be turned on or off when the ambient temperature becomes higher or lower than the predetermined upper and lower temperature thresholds. Structurally, the product is made on one-sided printed circuit board from foil fiber-glass plastic with the measurements of 56x87 mm. Power supply is derived from any suitable power supply of 12 volts. Let's engage power supply and add any load, such as a light bulb, to our device. To avoid frequent switching of the external execution unit we'll set up spacing interval and the temperature of upper and lower device operating levels. The settings are written to nonvolatile memory, and therefore retain when the power is turned off. Let's warm the digital temperature sensor gradually. After reaching the upper threshold red LED lights and relay contacts are closed. Our lamp is on. Let's cool the digital temperature sensor gradually. When the lower threshold is passed the red LED will turn off. The relay contacts are open and our light goes out. In this case, the controller returns to the pause countdown, the ...

It's all about children (or at least the anatomical possibility thereof).

It's all about children (or at least the anatomical possibility thereof). Tube. Duration : 9.65 Mins.

UPDATE 6.29.11: I've tried to make this a video response to Greg Koukl's recent video about same-sex marriage, but he has not approved it as a response. Here is a link to the video: www.youtube.com A response in particular to the TheAtheistAntidote's video "Gay Marriage NO; Respect YES", and more generally to all those who make the procreation-centric (or anatomical) argument in favor of the state's exclusively privileging heterosexual marriage. The procreation-centric (or anatomical) argument destroys rather than strengthens the foundation for the exclusive privileging of heterosexual marriage. How odd that those who identify themselves as defenders of marriage would rely on an argument that destroys it. But, as Jonathan Rauch astutely observes, these folks are so fixated on preventing homosexuals from getting the legal right to marry that if marriage itself is a casualty of their battle, the self-styled defenders seem to say, "So be it!" Links: Jonathan Rauch's essay "For Better Or Worse? The Case for Gay (and Straight) Marriage" -- www.jonathanrauch.com TheAtheistAntidote's video -- www.youtube.com NB: For those who argue that the state should not be in the marriage business -- a position with which I am not unsympathetic -- please note that *that* is not the subject of this video. Rather, this video is a refutation of a particular argument for the state's exclusive privileging of heterosexual marriage. Thanks.

MoonFaker: TETR-A? What TETR-A?: Critique #1: Canberra Revisited Tube. Duration : 8.17 Mins.

In my critique of Jarrah White's "Australia and the Conspirators" videos, I pointed out that Jarrah avoids "mention" of the word "Canberra." What I meant was that when listing the sites of NASA's Deep Space Network Stations in Goldstone, Canberra, and Madrid, (city, city, city) instead of "mentioning" Canberra, he substitutes the word, "Australia," (a country) every time. Apparently, Jarrah's English Comp teacher never stressed parallelism. Although NASA has several MSFN stations in Australia, the only Deep Space Network stations were the Honeybilla stations near Canberra. This was one of Jarrah's several idiosyncrasies that I simply found amusing and noted in passing. Amazingly, Jarrah picked up on this "filler material" and totally ignored my challenges against the 32 Claims he made in his Exhibit D videos. Instead of arguing against the facts, he chose to quibble over semantics. Imagine that. Videos: MoonFaker: Exhibit D Part 8 www.youtube.com MoonFaker: TETR-A? What TETR-A?
